It is a fact that not everyone is fortunate enough to go to school. But for those who have the resources, they venture on spending a lot of money.
As in the case of private schools, one has to pay the exorbitant price of “quality education”. But does that really matter?

With the negative issues and controversies that befell our government these past few months, every Filipino, rich or poor, young or old, deserves the right to know the truth of the matters.
The conception of this House Bill known as Freedom of Information Bill would give the public access to government records and somehow efface the doubts of the people on our government especially on anomalies that involve money. (Source: GMA News)

The education sector is confronted with another issue to deal when the Comission on Higher Education (CHED) laid its plan of removing Filipino subjects in college; thus caused heated debates that continue to make social uproars.
Information, helpful as it may be, can be very dangerous especially if it is misleading. A good example of such is the misconception hounding the Anti-Invasion of Privacy bill wrongly dubbed as “anti-selfie” which has caused people to react negatively without even knowing what the bill truly is.
House Bill 4807, the proposed “Protection Against Personal Intrusion Act”,seeks to penalize invasion of privacy for profit or commercial purposes especially in taking pictures with malicious intent and other forms of vested interests.
